My family has been …
My family has been farming since the 1960’s. We had both JD and IH, 5010JD, 1206IH, the 5010 would pull that IH all around the field. So in 1970 we got a 1456IH which had more than 20hp over the 5010. In tough ground the 5010 would out plow our 1456IH. the 5010’s,20’s and 6030’s were built like field tanks, lots of power and heavy, heavy front ends!!!!! John Deere All The WAY!!!!!!!!

ive got a 1973 JD 1020 and its never given us any trouble,by far the best tractor we’ve had..i dont think it will ever break down

Sled pulling only …
Sled pulling only proves who has the most work done to their machine. There are so many variables at a sled pull that it really is more driver and setup then it is brand of tractor.
